Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in investor relations, fund administration, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel is essential.
- Experience with fund administration or CRM software (e.g. Investran, eFront or similar) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and regulatory compliance standards is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, client-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the investor services team, serving as the primary point of contact for fund managers and investors.
- Oversee the processing of subscription documents, redemptions, and transfers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational procedures.
- Manage investor onboarding, including subscription document review, overseeing KYC/AML due diligence and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of investor records and CRM systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including accounting and legal, to ensure seamless processing of investor transactions.
- Supervise the preparation and distribution of investor communications, including capital call notices, distributions, and financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation of reporting deliverables, including quarterly investor reports and annual tax forms (K-1s).
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all investor-related processes and communications.
- Ensure adherence to fund and regulatory compliance requirements, including SEC, FINRA, and international guidelines.
- Identify potential risks in investor servicing and propose solutions to mitigate issues.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to maintain updated policies and procedures.
- Lead system upgrades and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide input on tools and systems to optimize investor services operations.
- Mentor and train new team members, fostering knowledge sharing across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous people management and team leadership experience is preferred.
