Requirements

• BS Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of combined experience in NPI project management and mechanical engineering
• Ability to travel/work internationally 25% of year

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cross-functional partners and external vendors to meet overall program objectives
• Focus on mechanical engineering design, development planning and validation cycles of new iPhones
• Deep dive into material fundamentals
• Creatively solve challenging logistics and technical problems
• Collaborate and work well with inter-disciplinary teams to deliver the best material solutions and products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with and facilitating communication across Design, Engineering, Operations teams and our OEM partners to meet very aggressive schedule, and quality goals
• Ability to independently drive projects through rapid development cycles and deliver a product
• Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making
• Provide project status across a wide spectrum of contributors to executive management
