Requirements
- Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Information System, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration or other related majors with a 3.0 GPA minimum
- Must be returning to the course of study following the completion of the Co-op
- Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from July 7 to December 19, 2025 in our Boston office
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functional stakeholders across Accounting, Operations, Technology, and other Wayfair Organizations to deliver project success
- Apply academic knowledge in accounting, business, and information systems to identify Wayfair business and IT risks and drive improvements to financial critical processes
- Help to review Wayfair internal controls and perform analysis to business and technology data from internal stakeholders to assist management synthesize key audit decisions
- Gain the experience of documenting Wayfair audit workpapers by leveraging Wayfair audit policies and industry standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, auditing and IT knowledge
- Academic experience, coursework or projects related to information systems, auditing, or accounting
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with attention to detail
- Comfortable and excited to work and learn in a synergistic business and technology environment
