Requirements
- University degree, preferably in technology/ engineering
- Demonstrated experience with supporting various Oracle OFSAA products and Financial Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM)
- Understanding of how a typical Oracle AML batch works to generate alerts and be able to resolve issues arising from batches in a timely fashion
- 3+ years of experience with production support of large-scale enterprise grade applications preferably in Financial Services
- Exposure to working with Oracle database is required
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with key business partners, understand financial markets and regulation and apply analytics to drive commercial value
- Basic knowledge on code repository tools like Nexus and BitBucket.
Responsibilities
- Identify, recommend, source, negotiate and implement solutions (buy/build/reuse) to enhance customer experience, availability, and cost-reduction.
- Influence product direction, foresee issues, identify solutions, work with leading-edge products untested or unproven in the market.
- Manage complex application deployment in load-balanced, service-oriented environment.
- Test, debug, perform, analyze and document environment components.
- Research business requirements, recommend best solutions for business technology architecture, collect environmental requirements for infrastructure implementation.
- Develop, configure environments from conceptualization through stabilization using various platforms.
- Design, implement, maintain an automated build and install/deploy process. develop, maintain build scripts.
- Troubleshoot initial failures, coordinate resolution efforts and communicate.
- Team up with Architects to ensure environment adjustments interact nicely and that data conversion and other areas meet performance requirements.
- Develop and recommend technical strategies and solutions to strengthen service levels.
- Collaborate with business leaders, technology professionals and external partners to assess project viability and priority.
- Lead or contribute to project management processes, conduct reviews. Integrate technical solutions with business environment, recognizing systems interdependencies and reusability and ensuring seamless delivery.
- Establish and maintain appropriate security levels for processes, information exchange and system implementations.
- Review, define, enforce and influence standards and appropriate quality metrics.
- Ensure systems and operational availability meet or exceed negotiated service levels, report results.
- Follow standards, policies, procedures, including disaster and business recovery plans, this includes business technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines.
- Develop and maintain solid processes to prevent, diagnose and resolve issues.
- Gain and maintain system development methodology expertise, key business initiatives and issues, implications for systems and technologies and impact on business solutions.
- Identify and deliver strategic solutions to support cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to third-party negotiations. Responsible for ensuring that the daily batches are running properly, and the batch SLAs are being met.
- Escalate and work with the Oracle engineers for issues and follow through to resolution.
- Responsible for constantly automating manual tasks and improving the various processes around the batch including ensuring the Runbooks and other supporting documentation are constantly updated.
- Work with the global teams and Oracle to automate various aspects of the batch including adding validation at every layer to ensure that any failures are detected early and fail fast.
- Responsible for creating and reporting out the weekly status of the batch and environment changes along with the KPIs.
- Be responsible for tracking and managing the backlog associated with any changes that are required in the various environments to fix issues or improve processes.
- Be the point of contact in Asia for other L3 vendor teams that are supporting CRR and TM applications guiding and mentoring them on best practices in TD.
- Ensure scheduled changes take place with proper testing, monitoring, and implementation and with little or no adverse impact to the business.
- Foster an environment and culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.
- Identify all support related dependencies and risks and ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks.
- Support the team in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and Monitor deployment process to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify and resolve basic issues related to deployment and automation process and Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
