Requirements
- Mastery of Software Requirements Engineering, Software Design and Software Implementation and Maintenance
- Understanding of relevant programming languages: .NET knowledge required
- Oracle (PL/SQL), SQL Server are required
- Working knowledge and understanding of General Project Management
- Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent experience
- Minimum of three to five years of related experience
- Relevant programming languages like .Net, Perl, Python and Korn shell scripting
- Examples of relevant databases are Oracle (PL/SQL), SQL Server (SSIS) etc.
- Examples of reporting like Power BI, Data Visualization tools etc.
- Examples of relevant systems platforms are Unix, Windows, LINUX etc.
- Examples of relevant development tools are Visual Studio .Net, VB etc.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes business / technical and related issues to formulate and develop or purchase new and/or modified computer programs and systems
- Revises existing programs, systems, and procedures and use appropriate tools to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, and storage
- Reconciles user requirements with existing and/or projected computer capacity, capabilities, and performance
- Coordinates symbolic statements (process and data models) of problems into appropriate specifications for coding computer systems, identifying functions to be programmed, information processing techniques used, and data representation
- Develops and may enter program code into computer system
- Prepares documentation and may conduct program tests and correct program errors
- Analyze programming system’s capabilities to resolve questions of program standards, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming techniques and controls
- May provide advice on new technologies, and estimate costs associated with data processing programs
- Develops procedures and operating instructions
- Uses project management techniques to ensure on-time product delivery and to meet client goals
- Anticipates organizational impacts of new or changing applications and factor this into project plans
- Develops new technologies
- Integrates diverse systems that execute on diverse platforms
- Seamlessly integrates new technologies into in use existing technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Any Maximo, Informatica, PowerBI and Mulesoft platform experience would be added benefit.
