Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related disciplines
- 8 years experience of formal project leadership with various project lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for team leadership as secondary support and backup to the IT PMO Associate Director
- Provides strategic program and portfolio management on the most visible and complex healthcare IT initiatives
- Builds long term relationships and forms interdisciplinary teams
- Functions with full authority for the execution and delivery of strategic program objectives and deliverables
- Mentors PMO project management staff on both project and career growth
- Directs all phases of enterprise-wide/high complexity programs and projects from initiation to close
- Manages competing demands of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and organizational change management
- Performs portfolio and program governance activities
- Establishes proper organizational structure to coordinate, track and report on multiple projects and sub-projects
- Proactively identifies program and projects with third party vendors
