Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or 2+ years of combined experience and professional knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Proficient in user account management, security protocols, and access control.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with monitoring system performance and security logs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Availability for 24-hour production support.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring users have the tools they need to work efficiently.
  • Resolve IT-related issues reported by users, ensuring minimal disruption to their work.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Handle user account creation, maintenance, and security settings, including managing access rights to ensure appropriate system access levels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, providing assistance for network-related queries.
  • Monitor system performance, security logs, and infrastructure health to proactively identify and resolve potential problems.
  • Maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure a well-documented knowledge base.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in IT administration to improve overall system efficiency and security.
  • Work with other IT team members and departments to support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide 24-hour production support, ensuring systems are always operational and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform other IT-related duties as necessary to support the team and the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent.
