Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing analytics/consultant role.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications/PR, business analysis, data management/reporting, statistics, economics, or other related areas.
- Excellent time management skills and are highly organized.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office applications with specific experience in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.).
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Understand marketing and the various metrics that come with them, with a particular focus on PR and digital metrics.
Responsibilities
- Utilize tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights and optimization suggestions.
- Work closely with the PR teams to implement data-driven recommendations.
- Act as the day-to-day support of analytics for respective accounts.
- Lead client-specific projects from data structuring and manipulation to visual creation and analysis.
- Build, develop and maintain data structures, reporting systems and customized dashboards based on KPIs.
- Optimize existing processes, create best practices, work cross-functionally, ensure data validation, and build data visualizations from the ground up.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is preferred.
- Experience with digital tools, including but not limited to: Google Analytics, NewsWhip, Cision, MuckRack, SEMRush, Talkwalker, etc.
- Experience with paid media, measurement, media planning and media mix modeling ideal.
- Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems a plus.
