Requirements
- Q/Kdb+ programming skills on Linux
- Development experience in front office and electronic trading systems
- Considerable knowledge of agile and SDLC processes
- Experience with Maven, Java, Git, Team City, Jira, and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
- Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
- Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
- Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Considerable academic record with a numerate degree of 2:1 or higher- e.g., computer science, maths, physics, engineering
- Full life-cycle development on at least 1 large commercial system, with ideal candidate focusing on significant development of large distributed Kdb+ systems
