Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Life Sciences, or field as outlined in the essential duties.
- 6+ years of experience within a clinical laboratory setting with progressive responsibility.
- 3+ years of experience in leadership roles with progressive responsibility within a clinical lab setting.
- 3+ years of experience in a next generation sequencing laboratory.
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments), CAP (College of American Pathologists), New York State Department of Health, California requirements, and quality management systems.
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of the Exact Sciences information technology (IT) systems used in the laboratories and operation teams.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results on cross-functional technical teams through cooperation with other functions and project teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design and development of the operational aspects of new next generation sequencing laboratories.
- Partner with operations leadership to develop integration strategy for acquired laboratory assets.
- Assist with leading the movement of people, process, and technology between laboratories.
- Work cross functionally with all groups within the M&A team and/or other laboratory support operations.
- Develop and execute project plans and roadmaps.
- Travel frequently to site of acquired company.
- Support and collaborate with coworkers on innovation initiatives, such as automation and idea exploration, and propel concepts from idea stage to execution.
- Apply strong knowledge of international business culture and ability to adapt to other cultures.
- Apply skilled and effective communication with the ability to engage and inspire a highly diverse organization and hold team accountable for results.
- Advanced business writing skills and technical writing skills.
- Ability to manage decisions through fact based/data driven metrics.
- Apply exceptional ethics with unquestioned character, and absolute integrity.
- Ability to work cross functionally with members across the organization, consultants, architects, and designers.

- Ability and means to travel between Exact Sciences locations.
- Ability to travel 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend and travel internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of ASCP certification and maintained throughout employment in position.
- Advanced degree in field as outlined in the essential duties.
- 8+ years of experience within a clinical laboratory setting with progressive responsibility.
- Experience and/or professional working knowledge of the cancer care continuum and clinical menu.
- Experience in laboratory startup, development, assay validations, and building codes.
- Professional working knowledge of ISO 15189, ISO 17020, and ISO 17025.
