Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three months phlebotomy experience in hospital setting, includes venipuncture for all ages and neonatal capillary collection preferred
- Basic PC based knowledge required; experience with networked environments and medical-clinical applications preferred
- California Phlebotomy Certification (CPT 1)
Responsibilities
- Efficiently processes patient and specimen workflow to support the Laboratory’s commitment to provide accurate, reliable, and timely information to clinicians
- Provides professional, courteous, and competent phlebotomy and/or clerical services for Hospital inpatients, outpatients, physicians, nursing staff, and support services.
Preferred Qualifications
