Requirements
- BA or BS in science preferred, AA/AS minimum required or equivalent experience
- Experience with MS Office Suite: Excel, Word-required
- Experience working with chemicals, required
Responsibilities
- Perform quality testing for production batches, distillations, utility water and quality testing of raw material and finished goods
- Demonstrate the ability to make routine choices involving quality issues
- Maintain systematic reagents
- Assure that QA tests are being run by approved QA methods
- Assure that the QA results are properly recorded
- Assure that safety guidelines for the lab are followed
- Assure that chemicals are properly labeled and stored
- Has a working knowledge of the hazards and proper handling procedures of instruments, materials, solvents and chemicals used in the laboratory
- Weighs tank trucks, inspects C of A’s, completes paperwork and reports to corresponding departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemistry background a plus
