Requirements
- BA/BS in education, foreign language, linguistics and/or 8 years of related work experience, or master’s with 6 years of prior relevant experience
- At least 3 years of adult teaching experience
- Proficiency in required languages: Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, and French
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to conduct basic research on the Web
- Excellent English-language verbal communication skills
- TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required
Responsibilities
- Provide 3-5 hours of instruction daily in courses at ILR 0-3
- Undertake tester training to become certified language testers and conduct 3-4 language tests per week
- Instruct students in speaking a foreign language and understanding the culture of the area or country
- Develop class materials and training aids to meet customized student needs
- Work under the direction of experienced senior trained instructors
- Receive specific sponsor training focusing on foreign language teaching and testing to become certified according to Sponsor standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of U.S. Intelligence Community, military, cryptologic, and law enforcement experience
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in Target and English
- Proficiency in multiple languages is strongly desired
