Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Requires flexible hours. Willingness to rotate to all 3 shifts during build event weeks, work weekend hours post date and during pilot builds and overtime. Ability to work all shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail. Highly conscientious and diligent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Project management skills. Capable of handling multiple projects without direct supervision.
- Analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult.
- Experience with the ability to coordinate resources, provide leadership updates, report status, and track timelines.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations, processes, and best practices.
- Knowledge/ability to implement lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead launch activities with support from Plant Launch Operations Manager (PLOM).
- Developing items required by the Global Bill of Operations and Operations Readiness checklist
- Coordinating meetings to develop items to meet the GMS standards in the areas of People Involvement, Standardization, Built-in-Quality, Short Lead Time and Continuous Improvement.
- Tracking progress for monthly launch wall reviews
- Upload standard documents into SharePoint and manage document control
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with plant standards
- Reporting to upper management on launch issues.
- Improving efficiency and managing waste
- Follow launch masterdot to plan and execute various launch activities.
- Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent training/experience.
- 2 years of relative professional experience.
- Experience in casting/propulsion processes and equipment.
- Multiple different manufacturing assignments with successful individual achievements or strong team-based achievements.
- Problem solving experience with Practical Problem Solving, 7-Diamonds, Red-X
- Requires extensive working knowledge of Quality related processes.
