Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Requires flexible hours. Willingness to rotate to all 3 shifts during build event weeks, work weekend hours post date and during pilot builds and overtime. Ability to work all shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail. Highly conscientious and diligent.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Project management skills. Capable of handling multiple projects without direct supervision.

  • Experience with the ability to coordinate resources, provide leadership updates, report status, and track timelines.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations, processes, and best practices.
  • Knowledge/ability to implement lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead launch activities with support from Plant Launch Operations Manager (PLOM).
  • Developing items required by the Global Bill of Operations and Operations Readiness checklist
  • Coordinating meetings to develop items to meet the GMS standards in the areas of People Involvement, Standardization, Built-in-Quality, Short Lead Time and Continuous Improvement.
  • Tracking progress for monthly launch wall reviews
  • Upload standard documents into SharePoint and manage document control
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with plant standards
  • Reporting to upper management on launch issues.
  • Improving efficiency and managing waste
  • Follow launch masterdot to plan and execute various launch activities.
  • Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent training/experience.
  • 2 years of relative professional experience.
  • Experience in casting/propulsion processes and equipment.
  • Multiple different manufacturing assignments with successful individual achievements or strong team-based achievements.
  • Problem solving experience with Practical Problem Solving, 7-Diamonds, Red-X
  • Requires extensive working knowledge of Quality related processes.
