Requirements
- degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or other related technical field
- 8+ years’ experience with BS/BA or 6+ years’ experience with MS/MA
- 6+ years of experience in the analysis, design and development of software systems including hands-on work in the test and integration of Ground Data Systems
- ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US citizenship
Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts and privileges and provide appropriate computer system administration for the LMOC-E equipment
- Provide support for information assurance activities such as Computer Security (COMSEC) infrastructure, IT security, and security products
- Sustain the previously installed Quintron/Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) voice equipment and associated VoIP conversion solution server
- Maintain the existing GSFC LCRD software license and warranty data in an IT Asset Tracking Spreadsheet
- Recommend and implement any appropriate network updates required to execute planned experiments
- Document network modifications in the appropriate Architecture Diagrams and provide inputs to the relevant Security Plans
- Develop Experiment-required Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs) to document security requirements for the interconnection of LCRD IT security boundaries to external experiment user environments
- Perform other duties as assigned
