Requirements
- Active TS with SCI eligible
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience in systems engineering, particularly in the defense sector.
- Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with NC3 systems and architectures.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform capabilities-based assessments verifying and validating current USSTRATCOM strategic weapon system planning programs and emerging commercial systems.
- Research and analyze emerging commercial and other DoD technologies for potential applicability to USSTRATCOM systems addressing system and software application requirements.
- Perform analysis of alternatives on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software tools identifying software solutions that may be utilized ‘as is’ or further developed or incorporated into software prototypes.
- Analyze system design and development, comparing actual versus ‘to be’ system configurations, and assess design adequacy in relation to system performance and required technologies.
- Design environments identifying and assessing technical and performance risks, as well as potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and recommend risk mitigation options.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Computer Science or a related field.
