Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance for large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or research sites)
- Strong and broad knowledge of cost estimating for maintenance and construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and assembly drawings
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the development & execution of multiple construction projects that support research at the designated site
- Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field
- Serve as best practice/quality resource and contribute towards strategy and policy development
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function

- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Demonstrated use of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodology in prior work efforts
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Procore, MS office tools
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement for an organization
