Requirements
- Associate’s degree and/or Technical Trade/Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- General understanding of maintenance key performance indicators.
- 3 – 5 years of experience leading/managing a team.
- Solid understanding of maintenance, inventory control & logistics.
- Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Self-starter who can work within a team & independently.
Responsibilities
- Assure that environmental, health and safety are the priority of the business.
- Provide direct supervision for the Casthouse and Smelting Maintenance Planners.
- Drive consistency in the planning function and systems.
- Plan and schedule maintenance and related project work on a weekly basis.
- Generate schedules through a weekly planning meeting with maintenance and production.
- Organize and provide all parts, tools and documentation for planned maintenance work.
- Measure the effectiveness of work performed against expectations of man-hours, cost, and schedules.
- Continuously improve work instructions and techniques through customer and user feedback.
- Monitor long-term maintenance schedules and monthly, annual, and multiyear budgets.
- Provide reporting of key maintenance indices.
- Developing & deploying training programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Use and Knowledge of Oracle EAM, preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing/industry environment is a plus.
