Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and/or Technical Trade/Certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • General understanding of maintenance key performance indicators.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience leading/managing a team.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance, inventory control & logistics.
  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Self-starter who can work within a team & independently.

Responsibilities

  • Assure that environmental, health and safety are the priority of the business.
  • Provide direct supervision for the Casthouse and Smelting Maintenance Planners.
  • Drive consistency in the planning function and systems.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance and related project work on a weekly basis.
  • Generate schedules through a weekly planning meeting with maintenance and production.
  • Organize and provide all parts, tools and documentation for planned maintenance work.
  • Measure the effectiveness of work performed against expectations of man-hours, cost, and schedules.
  • Continuously improve work instructions and techniques through customer and user feedback.
  • Monitor long-term maintenance schedules and monthly, annual, and multiyear budgets.
  • Provide reporting of key maintenance indices.
  • Developing & deploying training programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Use and Knowledge of Oracle EAM, preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/industry environment is a plus.
