Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in direct hardware and process Quality development and execution on the Shop Floor in an Engine Assembly environment)
- Minimum of 3 years of direct hardware and process Quality development and execution on the Shop Floor in an Engine Assembly environment
- Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance
Responsibilities
- Direct hardware and process Quality development and execution on the Shop Floor in an Engine Assembly environment
- Ensure conformance to specification through daily management and application of Quality tools and Continuous Improvement/kaizen activity
- Develop in-depth knowledge and application within a technical discipline
- Leverage prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute Quality policy/strategy
- Author and maintain Quality Management Policies and Procedures in support of Manufacturing Shop Operations
- Perform Audits (Product, Workstation, Special Process) of a shop in support of the Quality Management System
- Compiling, Reviewing, Approving, and Maintaining First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
- Reviewing of hardware/assembly issues for conformance, containment, and resolution as associated with Preliminary Review (PR) and Material Review Board (MRB) processing of material
- Facilitation and ownership of Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for hardware and Quality Systems issues
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
