Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years experience as a Technical Product Manager, specifically having led 0 to 1 product launches.
- B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering degree.
- Deep technical experience building complex ML products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, articulate and lead a visionary product strategy for the future of InsurTech.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science and design leadership to deliver high-quality, well-designed products that meet user needs and exceed business objectives.
- Guide the product team to work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements (PRDs), prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and drive business objectives.
- Be incredibly truth-seeking. Collect whatever data is necessary to inform product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, customer behavior or other business metrics. Solicit and welcome critical feedback.
- Make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentation.
- Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into product development process to drive growth.
- Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to Uber executives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Computer Science.
- Experience with insurance and actuarial concepts (prefer exceptional product fundamentals over domain expertise).
- Data-driven decision-making ability and a “driver” personality for pushing toward clarity and balancing the need for great collaboration.
- High attention to detail and proven track record to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and work backward from the needs of your customers to build solutions that scale.
