Requirements
- 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 5+ years of SQL/SAS programming experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex initiatives related to business analysis and data profiling, including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of stress testing and portfolio analysis for Risk Analytics.
- Make decisions in complex product strategies and risk exposure, requiring solid understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead Analytic and Reporting to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues, and achieve risk analysts, and common goals.
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor.
- Leverage analytical tools (TM1, SQL, Teradata, SAS etc…) to profile and analyze data.
- Problem solve using data and business knowledge.
- Analyze the impact of changes to the underlying data or business strategy.
- Document and work on enhancement of business processes and controls that are impactful to managing the accuracy of our data.
- Review work of others and provide value-added feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical/data skills, including strong SQL skills and familiarity working with large relational databases.
- Knowledge and experience with Alteryx.
- Experience with commercial or consumer lending and data environments.
- Experience with Agile and SDLC work environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and with sound business judgment; ability to interpret analytical problems and create efficient data driven solutions.
- Result orientated to deliver, self-motivated to learn and to influence. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills.
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
