Requirements
- Previous experience in managing high-performing, large engineering teams.
- Substantial expertise in the field of professional game development, especially gameplay engineering and in-game feature development with client-server gameplay engineering.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong skills with Unity engine and C#.
- Knowledgeable in game development pipelines.
- Proven track record for managing a team through all phases of game development to launch.
Responsibilities
- Manage a large team of talented game systems engineers and develop their skills to the next level.
- Help the team to deliver key milestones for gameplay and critical in-game features on time.
- Collaborate with a team of senior engineers, incorporating their relevant expertise into day-to-day operations and tasks.
- Partner with other disciplines to establish clear technical requirements and deliverables required.
- Manage the team’s day-to-day operations, including identifying and clearing blocks in their productivity.
- Review technical designs, provide code reviews, and give guidance to junior members of the engineering team.
- Frequently provide updates on the team’s progress and signal risks early to production leadership.

- Experience managing a team of engineers with distinct expertise.
- Experience with turn-based strategy games.
- Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related degree.
