Lead Software Engineer – Python & AI/ML

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Proven experience in application design & development
Proficient in Python and Django/flask
Hands-on in Data Science & AI/ML
Good understanding of algorithms & data structure
Ability to translate business offering to technical specifications and articulating the business impact of change.
Hands-on experience with deploying applications to Kubernetes platform, and is good with troubleshooting the applications on cloud
Proactive in researching new technologies for solving the business problems at hand, especially in python and javascript ecosystems.
Fluent with data-visualization library d3.js, to be able to propose multiple ways to visualize the data available and implement custom interactive visualizations to the stake holders as per their business requirements.
Had exposure to general telemetry patterns implemented in the application code-base, and is well aware of general application monitoring tools like appD, sentry, new-relic etc.

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
