Requirements
- 7+ years of prior UX Research work experience. Previous education and training taken into consideration.
- Deep understanding of UX/Design research methods, knowing when and how to apply different methods and customize them to teams’ needs and constraints.
- Experience owning mixed-methods research end-to-end and driving the evolution of multiple projects at a time to influence product and teams’ directions.
- Track record of proactively identifying new initiatives that help establish the roadmap and strategy of multiple feature areas and improve team productivity and process.
- Effectively able to instruct non-researchers on research fundamentals and best practices when conducting lightweight research.
- Comfortable providing focus and direction to multiple stakeholders when faced with ambiguity and technological constraints.
- Familiarity with analytics and quantitative research and comfortability working alongside quantitative research partners.
- Experience working B2B / Enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Work with a mix of highly collaborative and engaged product teams!
- Identify opportunities that inspire change within major areas of business while executing and informing research on a Group and team level.
- Build and nurture partnerships with product managers, designers, data scientists, analysts, and engineers at all levels.
- Lead end-to-end, high impact exploratory research while simultaneously teaching and helping cross-functional teams conduct lightweight research on their own.
- Present to leadership and find compelling ways to illustrate research findings in order to influence stakeholders and product roadmaps.
- Advocate for research within the organization and on your teams by guiding stakeholders toward the best areas of study, methodologies, and a shared understanding of our users.
- Identify patterns in research happening across teams and establish core insights that impact ongoing prioritization.
