Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania
- Doctoral degree (e.g. DNP, PhD) for assistant teaching professor rank
- Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) certification is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability as a teacher and adviser
- Evidence of professional growth, scholarship, and/or mastery of subject matter
Responsibilities
- Coordination and instruction in adult medical-surgical nursing courses, including classroom and clinical teaching
- Advising students
- Participating in committees
- Engaging in other service and scholarly activities as appropriate
- Show evidence of professional growth, scholarship, and mastery subject matter
