Requirements
- J.D. degree required.
- Minimum of six (6) full years of law firm and/or in-house private investment fund work experience.
- Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legal and business terms.
Responsibilities
- Structuring, negotiation, and formation of BXMA’s commingled and customized funds and portfolio investments.
- Negotiation and execution of certain direct and indirect investments within BXMA’s Absolute Return, Multi-Strategy and Total Portfolio investment strategies.
- Substantial interaction with BXMA internal business groups (investment, accounting, operations, investor relations) and external clients.
- Management of external counsel.
- Negotiation and review of various legal documentation.
- Ongoing review of industry and regulatory developments to assess any relevant information or risks to BXMA’s business.
