Requirements
- Current law student at an ABA-accredited law school in good academic standing.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Solid time management skills, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a corporate setting.
- Experience using LexisNexis and AI-powered search tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform substantive legal research, draft legal memos, and create other internal legal documentation;
- Provide support in IP procurement, maintenance, and enforcement;
- Conduct assessment of data privacy laws and regulations to help support privacy compliance;
- Assist with analyzing emerging legal and business issues;
- Assist with document gathering in response to discovery requests;
- Coordinate projects and communications among various internal business units;
- Keep abreast of legislative changes affecting the company’s operations and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders;
- Attend meetings with outside counsel to gain exposure to legal communication skills;
- Collaborate with other legal team members on various projects and initiatives as needed.
