Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One year of LPN experience preferred
- Pediatric experience is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides patient/family centered care
- Acts as partner and adviser to patients and families
- Assists and supports patients and families to manage their health care
- Applies critical reasoning and clinical judgment for appropriate care
- Assists medical staff with preparation, examination, and procedures
- Participates in recording and reporting responsibilities
- Documents findings relevant to patient’s health care status or plan of care
- Cleans and stocks examination rooms and/or other supply areas
- Documents all patient care delivered in the medical record according to the medical center policy
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of LPN experience preferred
- Pediatric experience is highly preferred
