Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology or surgical technology military program
- At least one year of work experience as a Certified Surgical Tech required
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, goal-directed, and family-centered patient care
- Prepare sterile supplies, instrumentation, and equipment used in surgical procedures
- Perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care
- Interact with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results and outcomes
- Follow established procedural guides in the preparation of sterile supplies and equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of LPN experience preferred
