Requirements
- Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology and 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
- New York State licensure or eligibility to become licensed in NYS.
- Interest in ongoing career growth and advanced skill development.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a busy, team-oriented clinical environment.
- VTS in Internal Medicine will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Organize and assist with all technical aspects of patient care/procedures needed to perform exemplary patient care and handling and support efficient service flow.
- Liaise with other hospital services for efficient patient care and oversee each patient’s diagnostic work-up, including equipment handling and monitoring.
- Collaborate and cross-train with multiple specialty services to ensure excellent patient care.
- Shape the future of veterinary care through practical instruction of diverse DVM students.
- Participate in cutting-edge veterinary research and clinical trials.
Preferred Qualifications
- VTS in Internal Medicine will be considered a plus.
