Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited LVN school with a current LVN license issued by the State of California, Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
- Experience and knowledge regarding the physical, mental, and social needs of the patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Perform tasks including vital signs, phlebotomy, gathering data, and medication administration.
- Verify medication for Medical Assistants within the LVN’s scope of practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred 1 year of providing patient care outpatient/inpatient, Skilled Nursing, Home Health, or clinic setting.
- IV certified preferred.
- Preferred wound care experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
