Licensed Vocational Nurse – Supervisor

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LVN school coupled with a Current LVN license issued by the State of California required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing patient care in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
• Current IV Certification preferred (will be required to complete within 6 months of employment).
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system required.
• Must maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the employees in providing nursing care to the clinic patients.
• Implementing and assuring quality medical management and cost containment health services to patients.
• Overseeing planning, development, implementation and evaluation/improvement of clinical care services/programs.
• Working with the Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, RN Manager and/or Regional Nurse Director and the Administrative leadership team to achieve clinic quality, patient satisfaction and financial goals.
• Ensuring all staff are up to date on clinic objectives using quality boards, presenting progress on clinic objectives at staff meetings.
• Providing leadership to nursing team and support as a mentor to staff.

Preferred Qualifications
