Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of Distribution experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and stay organized through a large volume of daily email and phone requests from internal and external customers.
- Provide daily work to warehouse floor, balancing workflow, and ensuring inbound and outbound truck turn times are within acceptable levels.
- Manage Live Load trailer tracking and reporting.
- Distribution center operations reporting.
- Monitor aging outbound deliveries.
- Provide prompt, professional communication with both internal and external customers regarding business requirements and transportation related issues.
- Build relationships with transportation vendors to ensure a high level of service to our customers.
- Ensure validity of data for internal and external reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the Carrier organization.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated strong experience in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel required.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or other ERP system preferred.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency, self-initiative, and sense of ownership.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain focus on multiple priorities.
- Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interact with multiple levels and functions within the organization.
- Ability to plan and organize daily tasks and adjust throughout the day to priorities/emergencies and to meet deadlines required.
