Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten year’s experience in Logistics and five year’s experience in Damage & Theft Prevention and Claims Management is required.
- Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) Tools – Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense.
- Must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization.
- Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with both internal and external customers.
- Must be able to make decisions independently and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues.
- Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and be able to work under pressure while handling frequent changes in direction, without losing focus.
Responsibilities
- Directs personnel in performing day-to-day logistics quality functions by managing, motivating, and developing employees, planning, and delegating work, and setting department priorities and goals consistent with company goals and objectives.
- Manages logistics quality operations via a network of third parties to ensure continuous process improvement and high-quality services, which involves management of damage & theft prevention, and claims related functions and costs.
- Responsible for establishing measurable and appropriate metrics to improve efficiency while achieving cost control objectives.
- Leads the development and management of the claims management processes, including system design, controls, goal setting, performance measurement, claims recoveries and continuous improvement targets.
- Collaborate with internal quality organizations on the development of end-to-end brewery and field quality processes and data sharing, including integrated field action planning, execution, and tracking standards, as well as financial impact and recovery tracking.
- Functions as an integral member of the management team and is expected to establish and maintain relationships across all other functional areas internally as well as externally.
- Participates and contributes to the planning, execution, and tracking of logistics financial performance.
- Responsible for system mapping including diagrams, specifications and integration with other internal and third-party systems.
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all project milestones are achieved.
- Responsible to organize, educate, and drive compliance from our internal and external stakeholders related to the distribution of our products.
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and translating them into technical designs ensuring business requirements are achieved.
- Tactical and strategic thought leadership into the broader Operations, Network Design, and Procurement functions.
- Evaluate and monitor performance of logistics service providers to ensure performance meet and/or exceed CBI’s operational as well as strategic goals.
- Responsible for the completion of monthly damage & theft, and claims management metrics and scorecards.
- Lead weekly/monthly calls with logistics service providers to review metrics, scorecards, open issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with brewery and logistics service providers regarding potential transport changes – loading, load patterns, packaging, protection improvements, etc.
- Lead theft prevention initiatives throughout the logistics network in Mexico and the United States.
- Track, analyze and report all thefts to key stakeholders utilizing data captured via the Theft Notification Form and Power BI Dashboard.
- Regular communication with CBI security team on issues related to theft and security.
- Investigate and perform trials utilizing industry standard and best practice tools and equipment to prevent theft.
- Oversee quality and security audits at locations throughout the logistics network and provide recommendation on industry standards and best practices.
- Develop security audit schedules to ensure service providers are compliant with CBI Security standards.
- Primary lead within the Logistics Quality team to collect, consolidate and finalize all metrics and scorecard data to be presented to senior management.
- Collaborate with finance regarding costs related to damage, theft and claims.
- Plan, support, and assist with special projects.
- Perform additional ad-hoc tasks when assigned.
- Must be willing to work outside regular business hours when necessary to support peak season and when critical issues arise (i.e., evenings, weekends, holidays).
