Requirements
- PhD Student/Candidate with research focus in: Computer Vision, Robotics, Deep Learning
- Strong PyTorch knowledge
- Extensive experience in deep learning
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate concepts clearly and precisely
Responsibilities
- Perception ML model R&D by prototyping, validating and iterating on existing and new model architectures.
- Own development of a new model functionality end-to-end. This means initial development, optimization, production platform validation, and fine tuning based on metrics and on road performance.
- Team player and “get things done” mentality
- Produce a final report and present to the autonomy team
- Collaborate closely with other Perception team members as well as with upstream and downstream customer teams.
