Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP/procurement software preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in manufacturing environments.
  • English proficiency required, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
  • Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations and purchases. Update procurement databases and systems as required.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that incoming materials meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and alternative materials that could improve cost efficiency or quality.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and inventory status.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
