Requirements
- Successful background in selling security-focused software, cloud, and related professional services to large enterprise organizations
- Experience being a trusted advisor to an executive level audience providing complex security-based solutions
- Deep knowledge of networking topologies and other technologies our customers are using
- Direct selling expertise that will produce additional opportunities in existing accounts
- Existing relationships and established contacts with intimate knowledge of customers’ current challenges and needs
- Proven customer-centric selling experience to increase revenues and build lasting value to customers
- Success working in a multi-tiered, multi-divisional sales organization
- 10+ years combined experience in a high technology and/or information security environment
Responsibilities
- Exceed assigned revenue quota
- Grow named accounts, maximizing opportunities for short and long term revenue
- Build future sales pipelines through deep account and territory planning
- Partner with the Sales Engineering team and other departments to close complex networking-security opportunities at the C-Level
- Identify new opportunities outside the primary product portfolio
- Produce and close both software and professional service opportunities
- Participate in sales conference calls and new customer engagements
- Provide product demonstrations both virtually and in person
- Work with the sales leadership team to strategize on sales approaches
- Ensure successful on-site product evaluations
- Provide sales expertise through technical and product presentations, product demonstrations, pilot implementations, and ongoing consultation
