Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the audit or assurance industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in the accounting field.
- Proficiency in Assurance software, especially in tools like DataSnipper and CaseWare.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor advancements in audit technology.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop best practices and improvement ideas for technology and software across the Assurance practice.
- Serve as an application champion for new and existing Assurance software.
- Focus on AI utilization and innovations within the accounting field.
- Develop processes for tracking software usage, identifying KPIs, and collaborating on reporting to develop dashboards.
- Determine ways to increase software adoption across the Assurance practice.
- Participate in evaluating and piloting new audit software tools.
- Contribute to the selection of fields and metrics from CaseWare/Sherlock needed for reporting.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor advancements in audit technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work part-time with the audit team to maintain industry knowledge (preferred).
