Requirements
- Knowledge of financial analysis and risk assessment and familiarity with the dynamics, needs and financing challenges associated with business clients
- Strong coaching and leadership capabilities to create and sustain a high performing professional team
- Ability to develop and maintain strong business and community networks
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e. web based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications), and knowledge of both traditional and non-traditional competitors
Responsibilities
- Coach team to focus on attracting, growing and retaining client relationships and introducing the full breadth of RBC partners and a broad range of products and solutions to deepen relationships through needs based advice
- Recruit and develop top talent; lead successful change management and support the team to deliver a differentiated client experience
- Develop your team’s capabilities including their credit skills; maintain oversight to ensure action is taken to preserve satisfactory operational and credit effectiveness through portfolio management activities and routines
- Demonstrate your market leadership by promoting the RBC brand and enhancing visibility by developing and maintaining a network in the business community, working closely with business leaders, COI’s, and community groups
- Promote digital enablement with your team by becoming an advocate for ensuring clients are set up to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of a broad array of business financial products and services, such as credit and investments is an asset
- Commercial Banking and/or Business Markets experience an asset
- Post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in Commerce, Business Administration or related experience
