Requirements
- 5-7 years communications experience in-house or at a PR agency
- Undergraduate degree (communications, journalism, literature, or writing preferred)
- Experience developing and executing high profile, impactful campaigns and programs for national, consumer-facing brands that drove earned media coverage and social conversation
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong media relations experience with a sophisticated understanding of social media
Responsibilities
- Serve as public relations and communications lead for multiple brands within our award-winning portfolio
- Play an active role in brand strategy and campaign planning meetings
- Provide strategic counsel on marketing campaign development, earned media activations, proactive and reactive media strategies, and more
- Day-to-day lead of PR agencies; collaborate with them as part of planning process and execution of campaigns
- Merchandise and report campaign results; track against KPIs
- Manage brand PR budgets and oversee contracts with agency partners
- Translate our business into proactive, positive storytelling to drive our corporate reputation
