Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, ECE or related industry experience (or equivalent experience); (Masters or PhD preferred)
- 10+ overall years of Software engineering experience with 4 years of hands-on management/ team lead experience
- Strong software design fundamentals and a deep understanding of compilers and programming languages
- Knowledge of software engineering principles
- Excellent communication skills to interface across organization at all levels
- Experience leadership skills to mentor
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with senior management for team vision and development.
- Leading and managing a team of experience compiler engineers working on compiler technology for C, C++, Fortran, OpenMP, and OpenACC, optimizers, and LLVM code generation.
- Establishing team objectives to meet schedules and goals.
- Grooming, mentoring and guiding early in career engineers to grow our next generation of leaders.
- Establishing and evolve policies and procedures that affect the immediate organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Contributing to LLVM or other open source projects
- Familiarity with Fortran, C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards
- Knowledge of compiler internals from front end to run-time environment
