Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of combined health plan member materials development and compliance experience in a Medicare Managed Care environment
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with superior attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet targeted deadlines
Responsibilities
- Manage development of Medicare marketing and member materials in compliance with CMS regulations and business requirements
- Manages the development, CMS submission, and downstream delivery of compliant member materials, including Annual Notice of Changes, Evidence of Coverage and Summary of Benefits
- Leads the Duals Medicare Communications Compliance team in the management of regulatory requirements associated with the Medicare and Duals materials compliance
- Manages a team of employees to optimize performance and align with company’s values/pillars
- Manages performance and conduct employee reviews and performance evaluations, develop skills and competencies in-line with career goals, ensure adherence to policy and procedures
- Delegates tasks and assignments, prioritize team workload, manage resources and provide guidance to ensure department’s goals are met, and interview, hire and train new team members
- Supports team members by addressing obstacles that would prevent achievement of goals
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of materials to CMS and state regulatory agencies
- Develops and maintains efficient processes for creating template materials with versioning to incorporate health plan specific information
- Trains business owners on Medicare Marketing requirements and departmental processes to ensure compliance
- Leads projects internal to the department and cross-functional business partners to promote successful collaboration
- Supports the implementation of measurable, repeatable, scalable, and predictable processes related to organizational goals and drive continuous improvement to enable the department to scale efficiently and effectively
- Manages quality assurance audits on department wide product, including regulatory research, projects, and communications
- Monitors regulatory guidance and disseminate as needed to ensure awareness and compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff preferred
