Requirements
- 5 years cryogenic design, motion control, and test experience, 8+ years preferred.
- Bachelors, masters+ preferred. A Ph.D. is helpful, but not required.
- Experience in photonic test or characterization.
- Experience with cryogenic (<LHe) cryostats and testing in cryogenic environments.
- Experience with low noise testing and superconducting device characterization.
- Experience with software development and software management and planning.
- Experience working with engineers and technologists in R&D and NPI environments.
Responsibilities
- Improve system throughput and capabilities for electrical and optical test under extremely low noise conditions.
- Maintain maintenance and upgrade engineering plans, software changes, user training, and planning for high availability.
- Increase tool throughput and availability by designing improved hardware and software.
- Design repair plans for complex failures, and proactive monitors to reduce these.
- Work with component development engineers and extend capabilities and improve high volume cryogenic test.
- Manage a team of experienced engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of cryogenic design, motion control, and test experience preferred.
- A Ph.D. is helpful, but not required.
