Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Health Sciences, or related field – Required
  • 4 years Relevant work experience as data or IS manager – Required
  • 5 years experience with ETL and Data Engineering Tools like Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory and etc.- Required
  • 7 years experience Data Engineering, SQL, Databases, system Support Experience – Required

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Data Engineers
  • Accountable for implementing and advancing our modern cloud data platform.
  • Accountable for designing and implementing data models/structures within the enterprise data lakehouse.
  • Oversee best practices for code quality, version control, performance tuning, and testing within data pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry standards
  • Design and create ETL/ELT data pipelines for cloud and on-prem data platforms.
  • Ensure the architecture in place supports the requirements of analytics, reporting, data science teams to support our business stakeholders.
  • Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling and data production.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years understanding of Cloud Architectures with Azure/AWS/GCP – Preferred
  • Proficiency with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Highly desired
  • Proficiency with Databricks and Spark for large-scale data processing -Highly Desired
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data pipeline development – Highly Desired
  • Proficiency with modern data lakehouse architectures and hybrid data environments – Highly Desired
  • Proficiency with ETL/ELT design patterns, data modeling, and data quality best practices – Highly Desired
  • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git) and CI/CD pipelines -Highly Desired
  • Proficiency with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments – Highly Desired
