Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering / Physics and minimum 8 years relevant experience; or MS degree in Engineering / Physics with minimum 6 years relevant experience; or BS degree in other technical disciplines with related industry experience of 10 years or more
- Demonstrated success in leading, collaborating, and developing cross functional teams on complex technical projects
- Must have experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital Design, RF or Power Electronics
- Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Oversee project execution
- Maintain staffing across multiple programs
- Monitor and improve design processes
- Provide collaboration internal and external to the Hardware Engineering (HWE) organization
- Training and development of the engineering staff
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree in Engineering / Physics / Engineering Management
- Working knowledge of EO/IR systems/hardware
- Prior success in leading and developing a strong technical staff
- Demonstrated interest in process improvement initiatives, including Agile process metrics tracking and execution of process improvement/development projects
- Current Security Clearance – Secret or Top Secret
