Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, project finance, private equity, or a related capital markets role, preferably in renewable energy
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and structuring of debt and equity financing
- Familiarity with tax equity financing, PPAs, and other renewable energy financing mechanisms
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
Responsibilities
- Assist in structuring and executing project financing transactions, including debt, tax equity, and corporate financing solutions
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for solar energy projects to evaluate investment opportunities
- Conduct market research and analyze trends in the renewable energy sector to support financing strategies
- Support due diligence processes, including coordination with legal, technical, and financial advisors
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for investors, lenders, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor capital markets developments and assess their impact on the company’s financing strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams including project development, legal, and asset management to ensure seamless transaction execution
