Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or has 2+ years’ experience in grant making.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse network of partners, both inside and outside the bank.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver, who can create and communicate project and program plans across stakeholder groups internally and externally.
- Excels in the ability to toggle between strategic thinking and executional excellence.
- High emotional intelligence as it relates to partnership management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end management of WM Canada’s branch allocations of RBC Foundation funds including tracking, quarterly and year end reporting, and budget reconciliation.
- Ensure all donations align to the Global Community Investment Policy and are responded to within the 90-day SLA as defined by the Enterprise Sustainability and Impact team.
- Lead relationship manager for donations up to $250,000 and support Director on partnership development and stewardship of gifts up to $2,000,000, ensuring organizations have a best-in-class experience.
- Execute on RBC’s social impact strategy and drive the partnership pipeline to ensure we are actively managing our partners and incoming requests for support.
- Responsible for WM Canada and GAM donations review, communications, and processing for key internal and external stakeholders.
- Help leverage and engage internal stakeholders effectively by identifying and co-creating opportunities for employee engagement within community partnerships.
- Partner with marketing and communications team on community activities to help amplify the RBC WM brand in Canada through appropriate channels.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of specialized experience in the charitable sector and/or a deep understanding of the sector as it relates to skill development, education and/or community development.
- Strong public speaking/presentation and written skills.
- Confidence working with senior enterprise leaders.
- Experience working on complex private/public partnerships and IT applications.
- Ability to communicate in French and/or experience working in Quebec.
