Requirements
- 2+ years of Engineering Manager experience
- Strong communication, people development and software project management skills
- Big Data (petabytes scale) and Data Warehousing background
- Data Engineering experience (e.g. Python, Java, SQL, Workflow, Spark, Hive)
- Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of talented data engineers primarily based in San Francisco Bay Area
- Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members
- Oversee the creation, evolution, and maintenance of foundational datasets used for analytics, reporting, and machine learning
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to understand the changing requirements and incorporate them in the roadmap
- Work with remote engineering teams and stakeholders around the world
