Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced experience and knowledge of data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Intermediate to advanced experience presenting findings from large, complex, datasets and proposing solutions or business recommendations in a clear, actionable way.
- Proven experience in developing reporting frameworks, automating reporting processes, and delivering data-driven insights.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall reporting and analytics strategy.
- Oversee the development of advanced analytics models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights for key stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain data governance policies and practices in collaboration with IT to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all reporting outputs.
- Act as a key business partner to senior leadership, helping to translate business goals into KPIs and data and reporting initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations on KPIs, simplifying complex data insights to drive business action.
- Lead large-scale analytics projects within budget and resource allowance.
- Execute data strategies with a focus on scalability, optimization, and automation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product, to ensure alignment of data initiatives and reporting needs.
- Lead and oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team of analysts.
- Monitor team workload, prioritize project completion, set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
- Interpret legal documents to model compliance tests, waterfalls and borrowing base calculations to create innovative solutions based on understanding of client needs.
