Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ overall years of engineering experience on data center or server system related products
- 2+ years of experience in people management or project management
- Strong technical background in two or more fields below: data center infrastructure, power electronics, memory device, semiconductor device design/fabrication/testing and automated testing
- Expert knowledge of failure analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Possess proficient skills in data analysis and the ability to effectively visualize and present analysis results
- Effective communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise data center PQE team focusing on system and board level failure analysis of customer quality complaints, provide guidance, feedback, and coaching
- Coordinate with internal and external engineering team to root cause customer quality issues, ensure corrective and preventative actions are identified, implemented and effectiveness verified to address the failures
- Define test procedure and test coverage on customer return units, and continuously optimize test flow to identify known issues and improve testing output capacity
- Facilitate effective communication with cross functional teams, providing high-level failure analysis status updates, key findings, technical insights, tracking action items, and maintaining organized documentation
- Monitor and report Quality Metrics
- Quality representative to internal teams, supporting activities for customer quality and internal quality requirements
